Bangladesh Public university research allocation hiked 13% to Tk226cr: UGC

The government has allocated Tk226 crore for research purposes for the fiscal year 2026-27, up by 13% from the last fiscal year, the University Grants Commission (UGC) said on Friday, in a bid to refute media reports to the contrary.
